Mindful Communication Group is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing outpatient ABA therapy program. As an RBT, you will play a key role in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and providing direct therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Mindful Communication Group, you will:
Provide behavior therapy in an outpatient clinic setting.
Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to reduce challenging behaviors and increase skill acquisition.
Utilize positive reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and fading procedures to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Promote independence and adaptive behavior skills through structured, evidence-based ABA interventions.
Behavior Management & Skill Acquisition
Implement behavior management strategies, reinforcement systems, and structured teaching techniques to promote positive behavior change.
Teach clients a variety of skills across domains, including:
Communication and language development
Socialization and play skills
Self-help and independence skills
Executive functioning and problem-solving
Modify teaching techniques to match client learning styles and needs, ensuring progress toward therapy goals.
Data Collection & Reporting
Collect real-time data on client behavior, skill progression, and treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with insurance and professional standards.
Collaborate with BCBAs to analyze progress data and modify interventions based on data-driven decisions.
Parent & Caregiver Training
Assist BCBAs in training and coaching parents/caregivers on implementing behavior support strategies at home.
Provide ongoing feedback to families to promote skill generalization across home and community environments.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) (preferred) OR willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (preferred).
Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities (preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
Familiarity with data collection software and electronic documentation (preferred).
