Speech-Language Pathologist - PRN

Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide outpatient pediatric evaluations and treatment, providing therapy to toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adolescents with a wide range of speech/language and communication needs. This is a hybrid role with in-office services and optional teletherapy as clinically appropriate. This position is perfect for SLPs seeking flexible PRN hours, supplemental income, or a gradual caseload build with supportive admin backing. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions in pediatric clients

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across a variety of pediatric diagnoses.

  • Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and age-appropriate activities

  • Participate in collaborative communication with a supportive multidisciplinary team as needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards

  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home and in school environments

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.

  • Valid Virginia licensure or certification to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
