Mindful Communication Group is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing practice, providing outpatient speech therapy support services to clients in our Douglasville, Georgia clinic. This position offers the flexibility of a PRN schedule.
As an Outpatient SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy plans, document client progress, and collaborate with parents/caregivers to support communication goals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside SLPs and Mental Health professionals to provide holistic, client-centered care. Responsibilities
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at Mindful Communication Group, you will:
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP for clients.
Provide therapy for a variety of pediatric and adult speech and language disorders.
Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions in person at our clinic.
Educate parents and caregivers on home practice strategies and provide coaching to support therapy goals outside of sessions.
Work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following the outlined therapy plans and guidance.
Collaborate with SLPs and Mental Health professionals to provide comprehensive pediatric care.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field (required).
Georgia License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (required).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
