Position Summary:

As we expand our programs, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Clinical Supervisor to join our Hampton, VA team. This is a part-time role with opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical supervision and administrative leadership, helping to guide our clinicians, interns, and residents while ensuring high-quality care for our clients. This role combines client-facing therapy with leadership responsibilities in program development, supervision, and staff support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to licensed staff and pre-licensed residents/interns.

  • Oversee program development in areas such as anger management, substance abuse, skills training, and group therapy.

  • Lead staff training, mentorship, and professional development.

  • Conduct case consultations and approve clinical documentation.

  • Maintain a small client caseload (children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families).

  • Collaborate with leadership to grow and expand mental health programs.

  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based therapy, and trauma-informed care.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field.

  • Current, active state licensure as an LCSW or LPC in Virginia.

  • Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) licensure by the Virginia Board to provide supervision.

  • Minimum 3+ years post-licensure experience in a behavioral health or outpatient setting, including prior supervisory experience.

  • Strong clinical knowledge in the assessment and treatment of individuals with mental health, substance use disorders.

  • Working knowledge of program compliance with state and federal policies, regulations, and laws related to behavioral healthcare services

  • Strong clinical and leadership skills with experience in supervision, training, and documentation oversight.
