About Us/Position Summary:

Mindful Communication Group is a therapist-owned multidisciplinary private practice offering Speech Therapy and Mental Health services. We are expanding our services to include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in Hampton Roads and are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our leadership team as Clinical Director or Clinical Supervisor, depending on experience.

The BCBA Clinical Supervisor will oversee the clinical and operational development of the ABA program in Hampton Roads, VA. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is passionate about clinical quality, program growth, and creating a supportive environment for staff and families.

This is a 1099 contractor position with flexible hours and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight for all ABA services.

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and supervise RBTs and behavior technicians.

  • Monitor treatment fidelity, data collection accuracy, and quality of care.

  • Train and mentor RBTs and clinical staff to ensure program compliance and excellence.

  • Collaborate with administrative staff for scheduling, authorizations, and family communication.

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable ethical, clinical, and Medicaid standards.

  • Participate in recruitment and development of new ABA team members as the program expands.

  • Conduct initial intake evaluations, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and skills assessments

  • Provide clinical oversight for all ABA services.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and supervise RBTs and behavior technicians.

  • Monitor treatment fidelity, data collection accuracy, and quality of care.

  • Train and mentor RBTs and clinical staff to ensure program compliance and excellence.

  • Collaborate with administrative staff for scheduling, authorizations, and family communication.

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable ethical, clinical, and Medicaid standards.

  • Participate in recruitment and development of new ABA team members as the program expands.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical ABA experience, with at least 1 year in supervision or leadership.

  • Previous supervision of RBTs required

  • Reliable transportation to travel within assigned service area

  • Comfortable using EMR and digital documentation systems

  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills

  • Experience with Medicaid and insurance-based ABA preferred.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Compensation:

  • 1099 Independent Contractor

  • Hourly rate (commensurate with experience)

  • Flexible; part-time with potential to grow as caseload expands

  • Administrative Support Provided: Credentialing, billing, scheduling, and referrals
